1. Download audacity to your computer. Save, install, and open the program. Download the LAME file, too.
2. Record your podcast. (click the record button to start and the stop button to end the recording. each time you stop and start, it creates a new file. don't be afraid to record until you get one you are happy with. you can also crop parts of your recording, too.)
Export the file as an mp3 (this is when you need the lame file {lame_enc.dll})
3. Save the file you are happy with (flashdrive, virtual file cabinet such as www.steekr.com {free, of course, and not blocked by HISD}, hard drive).
4. Wikispaces - (sign in)
a. edit page, then put the cursor where you want the file to be added
b. insert image/files
c. click the upload tab and upload the audio file
d. once it has been uploaded, double-click it and it should be inserted into the page (it will work like the podcast below)
you can insert an image of the book, too.
